Fully customised solutions for all Volkswagen commercial vehicles

The Caddy is the smallest model in the VW range; the Transporter is the company’s medium offering; the Crafter is the most spacious of all Volkswagen vans.

Whatever model you drive, you need robust liners to protect the floor against everyday wear, dents and scratches, and to protect the walls and doors against the sort of damage caused by accidental impacts.

Once your van has been properly lined to suit model and variant and the nature of your work, you can ask Syncro to install racking on one, two or all three interior walls and to fit whatever accessories you need to make full use of even the tightest corners and keep your business running smoothly!

A racking solution for the Crafter

The large Crafter was launched in 2006. A second series arrived in 2016 and was joined in 2022 by an all-electric version. Multiple configurations can be achieved using combinations of three lengths and three heights. The smallest offers a load capacity of 9.9 cubic metres while the largest boasts a generous capacity of 18.4 cubic metres.

Arrange a chat with Syncro System’s experts in Ontario, Canada to find the perfect solution for your own VW Crafter. We’ll be happy to design a fully customised combination of racking, work benches, accessories and extra equipment to optimise the functionality of your van and take your business to the next level.

In this racking solution for the Volkswagen Crafter, the Syncro team has installed racking on both sides but left the bulkhead free, equipping it only with a length of Syncroblock bar and a lashing strap. The storage capacity requested by the customer has been provided in the form of shelves, drawers, transparent containers and lockers. A work area for minor repairs has been added by combining a vice bench with a work surface in marble-look plywood.

A racking solution for the Caddy

The Caddy is the smallest van in the VW range and is much appreciated for its compact design and versatility by tradesmen and technicians who work on the move. Despite its size, the Caddy can easily be transformed into a mobile workshop thanks to the vast experience of Syncro Canada and the amazing flexibility of Syncro Ultra van racking.

The Caddy might be small, but its capacity is really quite impressive. In the long wheelbase version, the Caddy boasts 4.2 cubic metres of load space. In order not to waste a cubic centimetre of this, one of the ideas recommended by Syncro is to install underfloor drawers and a raised floor to accommodate additional racking and accessories.

In the example seen above, racking has been installed only on the right of the Caddy. Here you can see a set of drawers and, at the top, a shelf with plastic containers.

There’s no reason why you should not fit racking on both sides of your van. It all depends on how you plan to use the vehicle and how often you need extra floor space to carry bulky cargo.

A RACKING SOLUTION FOR THE TRANSPORTER

Here’s another model with a long history behind it! The first Volkswagen Transporter appeared as far back as 1949. In 2024, over seventy years later, we are still driving Transporters – more recent models, of course.
The modern Transporter is a medium van that is ideal for conversion into a travelling workshop or warehouse. The different variants offer cargo volumes from 5.8 to 9 cubic metres depending on what combination of wheelbase and height you choose. Load capacity goes up to 1,333 kg.

This page illustrates one of the endless ways in which a VW Transporter racking system can be configured. In this case the chosen solution combines enclosed shelves and case trays. The addition of a strap-type case compartment and other accessories enhances the van’s functionality and helps the owner to deliver a more professional service.

Remember that every racking system installed by Syncro’s Canada dealerships is fully customised and specially designed and constructed to meet your needs!
